THIS SIMPLIFIED MANNER OF MAKING GLYCERIN SOAP CONSISTS OF NOTHING MORE THAN MELTING, COLORING, MOLDING!       THIS CAN EVEN BE DONE AT CHILDREN'S BIRTHDAY PARTIES, FOR A TAKE-HOME SOUVENIR.  

YOU WILL NEED:

1. GLASS MEASURING CUP
2. GLYCERIN SOAP
3. SOAP COLORING
4. MOLD
5. STIR STICK

DIRECTIONS:

1. CUT SOAP INTO CUP
2. MELT
3. ADD COLORING  (I like to keep the color to a minimum - this way the soap is translucent and much more attractive.) 
4. STIR
5. POUR INTO UNTREATED MOLD.
6. LET SET UNTIL FIRM - 10 TO 30 MINUTES  (THE LONGER THE BETTER- If you are doing this at a birthday party - make it during  the first part of the party fun, this way the children will have them to take home.  I have forgotten the mold in the refrigerator overnight and it was all the easier to release.) RELEASE FROM MOLD BY  PRESSING ON BACK OF MOLD OVER THE SOAP.  THESE RELEASE  SLOWER THAN CANDIES.

                    HERE IS A WEDDING CAKE MADE FROM TOWELS AND SOAP.

BOTTOM LAYER IS ONE BATH TOWEL  HELD TOGETHER WITH FANCY RIBBON, THE TOP LAYER IS BOTH THE HAND TOWEL AND THE WASHCLOTH.   THE FLOWERS ARE SOAPS IN ROSE SHAPES AND THE LEAVES AROUND THE BASE ARE ALSO OF GLYCERIN SOAP.  THE BRIDE AND GROOM WAS DONE WITH NO COLORING ADDED AT ALL.  

THIS WOULD MAKE A GREAT SHOWER GIFT - ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE KNOWN FOR BEING A "CAKE MAKER".   AND NO CALORIES EITHER!
